YoungAfrikan magazine is calling on young people to submit short essays, writings, thesis on any topic regarding Afrikan society.
These can be on social issues, scientific, political, economic, film, culture, real life stories …you name it we want to hear about it.
Lastly help create a unique afrikan community by inviting your friends who write.

Article Submission Guidelines
Quick notice, when sending in material please remember to provide your age, some proof of age, and where you are from?
Articles should be sent to youngafrikans@gmail.com
Format
– Article Length 2,000 words MAX.
– Authors images should be renamed to the author’s name
-Articles image should be given articles name
-Email title should be your article title and authors name
-The author’s name should be included in the article
Here are the rules of the competition:
1. Once a month the call will go out for articles and once all received we will review and select the best 3 based on these factors- originality, creativity, most compelling, well-written, and well-researched.
2. These 3 articles will then be presented to this group for review in order to select the best of the 3. A poll will then be created and then votes cast on the best of the 3 and the one with the most votes wins.
3.One article per person per month.
4. Winner gets £50, runner up gets £20 and third runner up gets £10.
*5. For fairness, the same individual cannot win 2months consecutively but writers can be nominated 2months consecutively.*(under review)
6. Must be able to verify that you meet the age criteria.
7. It runs every month, so it doesn’t end. However, the cut off date for submissions each month is the 20th and the winner gets decided before the last day of the month.
The rules will be updated as time goes on.
