In a statement from the brand Creative Director Tinuade explained the inspiration behind the collection:
She is unfinished but actively being worked on. She is imperfect, dealing with insecurities and fears of not being good enough, taking the next step, learning something new, guilt from not having enough time for her friends and family.
Lots of bumps, lane changes, starts and stops, backed up delays, and falling hazards.
The construction zone is a noisy, disorganized, confusing, untidy and hectic place.
However, she knows that the process is beautiful despite all the chaos because she can see the finished product. She knows that this is simply the process of progress, The Construction.
She trusts the process; she rises to the occasion like a phoenix out of the ashes. Into a new and improved version of herself.
She is The Adey Woman.
She is always UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
