The three Baringo kids whose awesome dancing skills went viral in 2019 have received an education sponsorship to join a prestigious boarding school in Nyahururu.
The trio of Kevin Lekimariki, Adrea Lenapir and Lepasiron Lakachuma, have been enrolled at Little Lambs Boarding School after well-wishers led by veteran journalist Jeff Koinange joined hands to change the boys’ lives.

An overjoyed netizen Linda Chepkwony shared photos of the three young dancers on their first day in school.
“The best news of the year, finally the Baringo trio got an education sponsorship to Little Lambs School in Nyahururu. They were so excited to go and study in a new place away from the village. Their lives have been changed and empowered,” she tweeted.
Another post on a Facebook page called Kalenjins Online on Saturday, January 11, also shared the good news.
“The beautiful Baringo dancing trio have been facilitated by friends them to join Little Lambs School, Nyahururu. We are very excited for them,” the post read.

Their families lived in old mud-walled houses that were on the edge of falling down.
This attracted the attention of Citizen TV journalists led by Jeff Koinange who visited them and initiated a pay bill number to help them.
In other news about needy people pursuing education, Maclean ‘Mac’ Sarbah, a young Ghanaian who recently graduated with a Masters from Harvard University, has had a school block named after him at the Yeji’s Royal Educational Complex.
In an interview with Myjoyonline.com, Sarbah who comes from a poor background said he was “surprised and emotional” when he discovered that his basic school decided to dedicate a building to him.
It is indicated that Sarbah attended the rural school for both his primary and junior high school (JHS) education.
